Interview Boris Hübenthal
The Center for Integrative Oncology (ZIO) has been in existence for ten years. The integrative treatment approach cultivated there, previously ridiculed by outsiders as therapy by "herbal oncologists", is now the recognized standard of care. Dr. Boris Hübenthal, Medical Director, explains in an interview what else has changed.
Interview Nadine Wilhelm
Since September 1, the Center for Integrative Oncology (ZIO) has had a new Managing Director, Nadine Wilhelm. Wilhelm, who is also a member of the ZIO's parent company NSN medical AG, attaches great importance to a holistic approach - even if it may not yet be possible to implement it so comprehensively in one of her first major projects, the modernization of information technology (IT).
Course: Art therapy for women with breast cancer
The initial diagnosis of breast cancer very often means a loss of confidence in one's own body. The medical therapy leads to a visible change in the body, which deeply hurts femininity on a physical and psychological level. With this offer, we would like to support you in dealing with the disease.
Nadine Wilhelm takes over as Managing Director of ZIO AG and at the same time joins the Executive Board of NSN medical AG
Nadine Wilhelm will take up her position on September 1, 2025. Originally a sports scientist and biologist, Nadine Wilhelm is a trained osteopath and has been coaching amateur and competitive athletes for many years.

OTT: The ZIO in a pioneering role
Oncological training therapy (OTT) works much better than counseling alone, as a recent article in the New England Journal of Medicine describes. At the Center for Integrative Oncology ZIO, it has been an important part of the services offered for years.
Acupuncture: alleviating side effects with targeted needle pricks
Dr. Lisa Markhardt has been part of the ZIO team since the beginning of the year. The oncologist and haematologist not only contributes her knowledge as a specialist, but is also a specialist in acupuncture.
