Course: Art therapy for women with breast cancer
We cordially invite you to the third art therapy course for women with breast cancer.
The initial diagnosis of breast cancer very often means a loss of confidence in one's own body. The medical therapy
leads to a visible change in the body that deeply hurts femininity on a physical and psychological level. With this offer, we would like to support you in dealing with the disease.
What is art therapy?
Art therapy addresses people in their entirety. Painting and design enable access to one's own resources, emotions and desires. This sets inner processes in motion that can stimulate self-healing powers.
Art therapy favors the processing of stressful experiences in a protected environment, as well as the integration of new experiences. By creating, i.e. actively acting, visible and tangible change becomes possible.
Art therapy adapts to your needs and possibilities. No previous artistic knowledge is required to participate.
Information on
The art therapist will introduce you to a topic each week with a creative suggestion. After a joint introduction, you will have time for your own personal expression. You will be carefully guided by the art therapist. At the end of the course, the works created are appreciated by the group and invite you to reflect together.
Evaluations of the therapy sessions and the impact of the therapeutic process are carried out at the beginning and end of the project.
In addition to group art therapy, it is also possible to arrange individual therapy sessions. Please contact your therapist if you are interested.

Participation and costs
The course includes 6 weekly sessions in a small group. Registration is binding for all 6 afternoons.
The participation fee for the course is CHF 450 (CHF 75 per session) and must be paid before the first afternoon of the course.
Many supplementary insurances cover the costs of art therapy. Please enquire directly with your health insurance company.
