Dear colleagues
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Tibetan medicine (Sowa Rigpa) focuses on regulating the elements of the body, including a traditional view of constitutional theory, body-mind therapy recommendations and regulative herbal formulations.
Approaches and forms of treatment/recommendations from Tibetan medicine are presented, combined with current scientific approaches from psychoneuroimmunology, as well as connections regarding immune modulation/stress axis and also methods from integrative medicine.
One of the main focuses is on a variety of regulating herbal preparations.
Finally, the potential of support in the context of “compassionate care“ as well as the possibilities of developing self-efficacy methods of those affected and also professionals are emphasized.
Traditional perspectives from Eastern psychology can thus act as a pillar of support in integrative medicine, integrative oncology or palliative care.
