What is that?
The basis for sculptural art is the body and for painting the surface. Anthroposophical painting therapy focuses on the process of painting and the effect of colors. We not only have colors around us, but also carry them within us. They are connected to the soul and to the organs.
Therapeutic painting stimulates this inner world of color and can have a harmonizing and balancing effect on us. The experience of this world of colors and the color qualities is actively encouraged and their effect is specifically deepened. It is not important that a "work of art" is created, but that the way in which the colors appear together on the surface is true according to an inner law.
Painting stimulates searching and the balance between thinking and acting. This way of painting is surprisingly beneficial and offers many discoveries.
When sculpting, the gentle resistance of clay challenges the will and creative power. From the initially unformed clay, shapes and form transformations are gradually created. The person is stimulated to inner activity, which is then expressed in the firmer substance and thus promotes recovery.
