For people with cancer and for our specialists at the ZIO, it is extremely important to maintain the patient's individual quality of life and alleviate symptoms as much as possible during cancer treatment. OTT oncological movement and training therapy can help enormously here. At the Center for Integrative Oncology in Winterthur, patients can take advantage of this individually tailored exercise therapy. In this interview, oncologist Dr. Dirk Scharr and specially trained physiotherapist Moritz Rose explain how the new therapy can help and how it works at the ZIO Winterthur.

Moritz Rose and Dirk Scharr also reported on their experiences with OTT oncological movement and training therapy on TELE TOP's health program TOP MED. "OTT is becoming increasingly important for oncology patients," said Scharr in an interview with presenter Corinne Wacker. Moritz Rose knows how well OTT is received in the vast majority of cases: "We accompany patients individually and make sure that they exercise in a controlled manner. Many of those who take advantage of OTT stick with it in the long term because they feel that it does them good." The Center for Integrative Oncology in Winterthur now employs eight people who are committed to providing comprehensive, good support for cancer patients. The specialists from the fields of oncology, nursing, psycho-oncology, nutritional counseling and oncological training therapy look after you at Brunngasse 6 in extended premises, all on one floor. 140 square meters have been added to the ZIO Winterthur for the ZIO day clinic and the OTT therapy rooms.
